Barney Cohen is a film and television writer who has also served as a consultant and executive producer. He co-wrote the 1984 horror film "Friday the 13th:The Final Chapter", which was part of the popular "Friday the 13th" movie franchise. He also co-created the vampire drama "Forever Knight". He wrote a number of episodes as well as serving as a consultant for the popular TV series, "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" as well as its movie spin-off.
Cohen has executive produced a number of movies including the Dolph Lundgren action flick, "Red Scorpion".
Apart from writing for movies and live action television series, Cohen also contributed stories for popular animated shows such as ThunderCats and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
