Boggy Ben is a gigantic green monster that lives in a swamp named after him on Third Earth. He has a bird-like beak, sharp long claws, and bright red eyes. Apart from enormous physical strength, Boggy Ben is also able to shoot fire from his mouth.
The ThunderCats encountered Boggy Ben when they ventured into his lair in search for the Elixir of Jar-Opening Super Strength, a fake potion that Cheetara had thought up of. At first, Boggy Ben was able to easily thrash Lion-O, Tygra and Cheetara. But later on, when the Cats were joined by Panthro and the ThunderKittens, were they able to eventually defeat Boggy Ben.
