Bolkins are one of the many inhabitants of Third Earth. They have a sheep-like face and are of short stature. They are a very gentle and simple race who only want to live in peace. They are generally good-natured and honest but because they aren't very affluent, they sometimes get tempted by greed and the thought of gaining any kind of valuable items easily. They are also rather curious, a characteristic which often lands them in trouble.

Just like the Wollos, the Bolkins often find themselves caught in the middle of the battle between the ThunderCats and the various other evil forces such as Mumm-Ra, the Mutants, and Grune.

The only two Bolkins that were mentioned by name in the show are Hurrick and Bundun. While seeking shelter from a fierce storm, these two accidentally find themselves inside the tomb of Grune the Destroyer. Hoping to find some buried treasure, they inadvertently end up releasing the spirit of Grune who then proceeds to terrorize Third Earth. Fortunately, he is stopped by Jaga. The Bolkins do eventually own up to their mistake and apologize to the ThunderCats.
