Bolts of Evil is a dragon-shaped being made completely of energy, conjured up by Mumm-Ra. The creature is glowing yellow in color and capable of flying extremely fast. It is even able to out-race Cheetara.

Following Slithe's plea to rid the ThunderCats of their weapons, Mumm-Ra summons the Bolts of Evil from his cauldron and sends it to Cats Lair. Once inside the lair, the energy being destroys all of the Cats' electronic equipment before sealing shut the Sword Chamber.
