The Caves of the Trolls and Giants is an area of settlement on Third Earth. It is essentially a collection of many caves that have been carved into the side of a mountain. The caves vary in sizes from being small to very large. The small caves act as homes for the Third Earth inhabitants known as the Trolls while the bigger caves are the abode of the Giants. It is a rather unique settlement as one of the smallest and one the largest beings of Third Earth live there together peacefully.
