The Crumbling Cliffs of Vertigo are a precarious and very steep precipices on Third Earth. They lead to Mount Anguish but their brittle rock structure make it almost impossible for anyone to scale them.
When Mumm-Ra kidnapped Ro-Bear Belle and took her to the top of Mount Anguish in order to put his plan to free Ta-She from her Time Warp Prison into action, the ThunderCats quickly headed there to stop the vile mummy.
Lion-O and Snarf decided to approach Mount Anguish via the Cliffs of Vertigo. The climb was a very difficult one and at times they almost fell down. But they managed to scale the dangerous cliffs by using the Sword of Omens to build an artificial pathway.
