The Cloning Machine is a giant device that belonged to Mumm-Ra. The machine was able to create a clear of mold of any subject inserted into it and then fill that mold to form an identical clone of the being.
Mumm-Ra once hired the Driller to kidnap Panthro and then used the machine to create a clone of him. Later he summoned the spirit of the dead Berserker Hammerhand to inhabit the Panthro body and wreak havoc on Third Earth. After the Panthro clone was defeated by the ThunderCats, he returned back to Mumm-Ra's Pyramid and in anger, destroyed the cloning machine.
