The Desert of Sinking Sands is a massive barren wasteland located on Third Earth. Situated near Mumm-Ra's Black Pyramid, the desert is a place where only the fearless venture. Mumm-Ra has the ability to control the sands of the desert, making objects sink or reappear at will. Mumm-Ra once completely sunk the Mutant Mothership into the desert depths.
