The Dreary Canal is one of the many water bodies found on New Thundera. This river originates in the Caverns of Cold whose melting glaciers are the source of its water. As its name suggests, the Dreary Canal runs through areas that are grim and lifeless. However, certain creatures do dwell in the canal. One such creature being Eezuka, the flying serpent.
Once when the harmonic convergence of the five Moons of Plun-Darr caused a massive drought on New Thundera, all of the planet's water bodies dried up, including the Dreary Canal. It was only after Lion-O and Bengali used the ThunderStrike's laser cannon to melt the glaciers of the Caverns of Cold that the canal was filled with water again.
