Galaxy of Plun-Darr is a system of ten planets that revolve around the Star of Plun-Darr at the center of the galaxy. Three out of the ten planets have life on them.
Centuries ago, the Ancient Spirits of Evil commanded Mumm-Ra to forge a sword from the blood of the Star of Plun-Darr so that it may hold and channel the energy of the Power Stones. Under Mumm-Ra's orders, his commander Leo sent a special satellite to destroy the star and bring the remaining matter to Mumm-Ra's spaceship.
The Ancient Spirits then possessed one of the Blacksmiths and forged the Sword of Plun-Darr from the remains of the star. Planning to stage a rebellion against Mumm-Ra, Leo collected the debris that were left over from the forging and took them to the Blacksmith who forged another smaller blade, the Sword of Omens.
