Giant Treetop Spiders are creatures that dwell in the Treetop Kingdom of the Warrior Maidens . Having a body that is covered in fur, these arachnids only have six legs instead of a spider's normal eight. They appear to have adequate amount of intelligence and are capable of understanding speech even though they themselves cannot speak. They are capable of spinning webs which are as strong as Lion-O 's Claw Line.
Willa 's favorite Giant Treetop Spider is called "Bushy" and it helps her and Lion-O scale the precarious walls of Castle Plun-Darr in order to save Tygra from the Mutants . When Panthro first sees Bushy, he mistakes it for a hairy baseball. Bushy does have a rather sensitive nature and gets upset when Panthro exclaims that he hates spiders.
