Giants are one of the many native species living on Third Earth. These massive humanoids are enormous in size, but do not exhibit any sort of evil tendencies. They wear simple, cavemen-style clothes.
The Giants live together with the diminutive species, the Trolls in the Caves of the Trolls and Giants, a series of caves of different sizes located on the side of a huge cliff.
While exploring their new homeland after their initial arrival on Third Earth, Lion-O and Snarf one day end up in the territory of the Giants. They encounter a Giant who doesn't even see them and just goes off on his own way. Mistaking the sitting Giant's shoe for a tree, Snarf gets the fright of his life when the Giant decides to get up and walk away, nearly crushing Snarf under his humongous feet, unintentionally.
