Kazufumi Nomura is a Japanese animator, producer and director who worked at the Japanese animation company known as "Pacific Animation Corporation (PAC)", which was headed by Masaki Iizuka
Nomura started working in the animation field in the mid 1970s. He worked on a number of Japanese animated cartoons as animator and production assistant.
On 22nd June 1984, Nomura founded the "Another Push Pin Planning (A.P.P.P.)" Japanese animation studio. The studio is located in Suginami, Tokyo. Since its establishment, the studio has contributed to the animation of a very large number of anime films and television series in collaboration with other companies.
In the mid 1980s, he joined the newly formed PAC, which handled almost all of the animation duties of the various Rankin/Bass cartoons. Among the Rankin/Bass productions that Nomura worked on was ThunderCats
