Locator Disc is a tiny homing device that was invented by Panthro. He gave it to Lion-O so that he could keep a track on his whereabouts and reach him quickly in case of emergency. The disc was stuck on Lion-O's belt from where it transmitted details of his position to Panthro. The location system for the disc is installed in the ThunderTank and it includes a screen which shows a glowing blip, indicating Lion-O's location.

The Locator Disc helped Panthro and Cheetara locate Lion-O who was stuck deep inside the heart of Enflamer's volcano. Even though the intense heat within the volcano eventually caused the Locator Disc to stop functioning, Panthro was still able to locate Lion-O by following its initial co-ordinates.
