- For the article about the 2011 version of this character, see Lynx-O (2011).
Lynx-O is the "elder statesman" of the ThunderCats. He was blinded in an explosion during the destruction of Thundera, and picked up in a Berbil spaceship along with Bengali and Pumyra. He finally becomes a ThunderCat at the conclusion of the ThunderCats Ho! 5-part mini-series. Although he is blind, he has heightened senses and is able to notice things the other ThunderCats can't at first. This ability is best shown in "The Mask of Gorgon" when Lynx-O is able to sense the child of the hills of Elfshima and realizes that sight beyond sight can give evil beyond evil. He also possesses some degree of psychic ability, much like Cheetara. Lynx-O is a master martial artist specializing in one-touch knock-out techniques. Lynx-O is also the designer and maker of the Braille Board, an amazing keyboard-like device that allows him to interface with technology and even pilot a ship with supernormal precision. He lives in the Tower of Omens with Bengali, Pumyra and Snarfer. Lynx-O is most often seen piloting the ThunderStrike.
Weapons and Equipment[]
His weapon of choice is a Lightshield which he uses to reflect energy attacks back at his enemies.
