The Mighty Gyroscope is a massive machine consisting of a huge, rapidly spinning disc. Located inside the Great Beneath in the heart of New Thundera, the Gyroscope is responsible for holding the entire planet together by generating New Thundera's gravity. Even the slightest disturbance or malfunction in the Gyroscope can result in massive earthquakes and gravitational fluctuations on the planet's surface.
The Gyroscope is controlled by the ancient ThunderCats sorceress, Jagara. She constantly monitors the device to make sure that it is running properly. She also protects it against any harm or danger.
