Mongor is a goat-like evil being who terrorized Third Earth until he was locked up in his tomb prison. This caprine villain feeds on fear and wherever he finds fear, he grows in size and strength. Carrying a giant Scythe, Mongor has many magical powers including the ability to shoot lasers from his eyes, spew flames from his mouth and he is completely immune to fire.

Mongor returns to wreak havoc on Third Earth when WilyKit and WilyKat accidentally free him from his tomb prison which even the mighty Mumm-Ra had failed to locate. Once freed, Mongor successfully manages to capture all the ThunderCats except Lion-O and the ThunderKittens who team up and eventually defeat the villain.

Strengths

Mongor is an extremely powerful adversary. He has immense magical powers which can counteract anything that the ThunderCats may use against him. His fearsome personality and his ability to feed on other's fears ensures that he grows powerful every time that he comes into contact with another being.

Weaknesses

Mongor thrives on the fear of his opponents and without it, he is completely powerless. Also Mongor can be defeated if he is hit without directly looking at him. Lion-O employs this technique and, using his Claw Shield as a mirror, fires blasts from the Sword of Omens at the goat demon, shrinking him down.

Weapons and Equipment

Mongor's main and only weapon is his giant Scythe. This mighty blade can deflect any energy blast as well as being able to shoot its own beams and produce fire.
