The Mosslands are an area of New Thundera. It is an unexplored territory which is covered with moss and has some rocky outcrops as well. The Mosslands are the home territory of the gigantic Mossland Monster who is fiercely territorial and will attack any trespassers. The creature, despite its massive size, is able to disappear into the surrounding moss and remain unseen.
Tygra once crashed the Feliner in the Mosslands where it got stuck in the deep moss. There he encountered the Mossland Monster who turned him into moss. When Lion-O, Bengali, Snarf, and Snarfer went to rescue Tygra, they too were turned to moss by the monster. Finally the Stone Giants came to the aid of the ThunderCats and destroyed the Mossland Monster.
