The Planet of the Red Sun is the planet where Hachiman lives. Not much is known about this particular planet but it appears to have an environment and weather very similar to Third Earth. Hachiman has a traditional Japanese-style home on the planet. His robotic steed Doji-Kage also lives there with him.
The planet is not very far from New Thundera as Hachiman was able to fly there while riding Doji-Kage. However, he was attacked en route by Ma-Mutt who had been transformed into a giant bat by Mumm-Ra.
