Pumyra was one of the ThunderCats' soldiers serving to protect and defend the kingdom of Thundera against any and all threats.
She fought during the battle which eventually led to the fall of Thundera, in which she was badly wounded and left to die, pinned under a massive pile of rubble. As she was dying, Pumyra was filled with hate and bitterness towards Lion-O and the other ThunderCats for abandoning Thundera and their countrymen and failing to hear her cries for help.
Mumm-Ra sensed her hateful spirit and resurrected her, so that she could serve as his spy, and a beacon for him to follow. He concocted a plan in which he placed her among the captive Thunderian slaves to be sold to Dobo. While fighting in the Pit, she encounters Lion-O and the other ThunderCats and joined them on their quest of locating the Power Stones.
Despite pretending to be helping them, Pumyra does not hide her hate for Lion-O and often hurls venomous accusations at the young Lord. Lion-O in turn tries his best to win her trust. During their journey, Pumyra'a actions lead to Mumm-Ra regaining possession of the Sword of Plun-Darr.
It wax during the siege of Avista that the ThunderCats discover the truth about Pumyra when she hands the Tech Stone to Mumm-Ra. Kissing his Gauntlet and kneeling before him, Pumyra proclaims her loyalty to Mumm-Ra. She then flees with him, promising to kill Lion-O the next time they meet.
Strengths[]
Pumyra is extremely agile, fast and a highly skilled fighter. She is capable of taking down even the biggest and most dangerous opponents.
Weaknesses[]
Pumyra's greatness weakness is her uncontrollable rage. She harbors and intense amount of hatred and bitterness inside her which makes it easy for Mumm-Ra to manipulate her and turn her against the ThunderCats. Her resentment towards Lion-O and unwillingness to forgive him makes her fail to see the truth.
Weapons and Equipment[]
Pumyra is armed with a Crossbow which is mounted on her wrist. She is an expert at using it, even being able to defeat the mighty Gormax with it.
She also carries with her Bolas which she can use to trap and incapacitate her opponent. One time she was also shown to carry a knife.

Trivia[]
- According to the creators, in Season 2, Pumyra would have been turned into a wicked Insectoid monster by Mumm-Ra due to her hunger for more power.
