Royal Thunderian Guards are the sentry who patrol the gates of Claudus' palace on Thundera. They are very loyal and extremely protective of the Royal family. They wear the ThunderCats insignia on their outfits and make sure that no unauthorized person enters the gates of the palace.
Lion-O encounters the guards when he is sent back in time and space to Thundera , just before its destruction. Since at that point in time, the Lion-O that the guards know is a mere boy, they assume that the grown Lion-O is a Plun-Darian and fire at him. But when they see the legendary Sword of Omens in Lion-O's hands, they reluctantly allow him entry into the palace.
Weapons and Equipment[]
Both the guards are armed with small but powerful Ray Pistols which fire a strong bolt of energy, enough to thwart any enemy.
