Samson is one of two giant frog-like robots created by Dr. Dometone to guard the Great Oceanic Plug on Third Earth. The other giant frog-like robot is Hercules. Hercules is green in color while Samson is blue. Both the frogs sit atop the Oceanic Plug and guard it against any threat.
Samson is an amphibious robot with the ability to travel both in water and on land. It moves about by walking and when standing upright on its two legs, it measures almost fifty feet in height. Its mouth is the main point of entry inside the robot. Samson does not have any type of weapons, instead it relies on hand-to-hand combat using its strong hands to punch and pound any opponent. Hercules' eyes are two powerful lights which help the human controller inside to see better when the robot is in the dark depths of the oceans.
Inside Hercules, is complex machinery and a cockpit from where Dr. Dometone or one of his crew member controls it. The robot also has a store of Shark Suits which the crew can use to swim outside undetected.
Once when Dr. Dometone went ashore for supplies with Hercules, Samson was left alone to guard the Great Oceanic Plug. The evil Scrape saw this as an opportunity to further his devious scheme and attacked Samson with this Giant Electric Eel. Samson tried hard to fight back but the Eel had wrapped its body around Samson tightly and delivered a very high voltage jolt of electricity which permanently destroyed Samson.
