The Shadowbeast or Shadow Ape is a fearsome three-headed creature that was conjured up by the evil wizard, the Shadowmaster. The creature has a dark fur and three heads with a horn on the forehead of the central head. The Shadowbeast is extremely strong and dangerous in hand-to-hand battle.
The Shadowmaster once lured Lion-O into the Shadow Realm and unleashed the powerful beast onto him. Lion-O tried his best to fight the Shadowbeast but without any weapon, he was not able to. Then he discovered that the creature is highly vulnerable to bright lights. So Lion-O clapped flint rocks lying on the ground and produced bright sparks which made the Shadowbeast retreat in pain.
