Staff is the main weapon wielded by Cheetara. It is a wooden rod, about the same length as her body, but with the ability to extend and contract.
Cheetara's first staff, which she could extend and contract at will, was used by her in many battles. Her super speed coupled with her skills in using the staff allowed her to turn this simple wooden stick into a powerful weapon.
When fighting Viragor in the Forest of Magi Oar, Cheetara's Staff was broken. However, after the ThunderCats helped Viragor to rid his forest of the evil Wood Forgers, Viragor gifted Cheetara with a brand new Staff.
This new Staff, which was made from the oldest tree in the enchanted forest, had great magical powers, including the ability to sprout roots and even fire dart-like projectiles.
