The Legend of Boggy Ben is an episode from ThunderCats Roar, which originally aired on February 29, 2020.
Official Summary[]
Lion-O has gotten a hold of the last jar of Thundersnaps, the best cookies Thundera had to offer! But a difficult to open cookie jar is gonna send Lion-O and Cheetara chasing down a legend, a Boggy Ben-related legend.
Story[]
One fine morning, the Sword of Omens alerts Lion-O that it is Cookie O'Clock, the time for the ThunderCats to indulge in their favorite Thundersnaps Cookies. However, despite all his efforts, Lion-O is unable to open the last jar of Thundersnaps, and refuses anybody's help as well.
Cheetara then suggests that Lion-O needs the Elixir of Jar-Opening Super Strength, which will give the young lord enough strength to be able to open the cookie jar. Since the elixir is located in the Swamp of Boggy Ben, Lion-O and Cheetara head there.
Once at the swamp, Cheetara gets captured and locked in a cage inside Boggy Ben's Lair. Soon a monster appears but it turns out to be Tygra, wearing a monster costume. Cheetara then reveals that she had cooked up this whole affair, hoping it would teach Lion-O the importance of calling for help when in trouble.
Suddenly, the real Boggy Ben appears and attacks the three ThunderCats. The monster appears to be more than a match for the trio and they keep on getting thrashed by him until Lion-O finally uses the Sword of Omens to call the other ThunderCats.
Panthro, WilyKit and WilyKat arrive on the scene in the ThunderTank. The combined might of the ThunderCats proves to be too much for Boggy Ben and the beast is defeated. Lion-O tries to open the cookie jar once again but drops it into the swamp. At that point, Panthro reveals the new secret weapon that he had been installing in the ThunderTank - a Thundersnap Launcher! The ThunderCats rejoice and dance as the ThunderTank showers them with Thundersnap cookies.
