ThunderCats Bullet Point Story[]

Double Jeopardy, part 1 of 2:[]

Written by Gerry Conway &Mike Collins
Art by Martin Griffiths, Simon Coleby, Glib and Weasel

The adventure begins with the Thunderkittens exploring in the forests near Cats’ Lair when they stumble upon two large cocoons. Lion-O and Cheetara also appear, to the kittens’ surprise as they left Lion-O at a peace conference earlier. As the youngsters are getting suspicious of their elders’ strange behaviour, they notice that the cocoons are now empty – but too late to escape from the two imposters! Back in the Council Chamber, Lion-O is struggling to negotiate peace between the Berserkers and the Berbils. Hammerhand and Ro-Bear Bill both leave for a recess. We then discover that Wilykit and Wilykat have been trapped in their own cocoons, with Mumm-Ra orchestrating events from the Onyx Pyramid. The imposters arrive at Cats’ Lair and Lion-O attacks Hammerhand whilst Cheetara beats Ro-Bear Bill with her staff. Panthro and Tygra see their two guests leaving angrily, much to their confusion...

Mystic Maze:[]

Written by John Freeman

The story begins with Mumm-Ra and Mongor standing over the magical cauldron. They are watching Panthro dismiss magic and argue in favour of technology. Mumm-Ra transports the ThunderCat to the Mystic Maze and sends Mongor to destroy him. Despite his confusion at events, Panthro is able to use his gadgets to escape several traps and the defeats Mongor using his fighting skills. When Mumm-Ra himself appears, Panthro concludes that he must somehow still be near Cats’ Lair and uses his blaster on the maze. Punching a hole in the wall, he then falls through the ceiling of the cats’ breakfast room, landing on the table. After explaining the events to the other ThunderCats, Panthro discovers that his blaster had no power pack. Snarf tells him that it worked because he believed it would. Lion-O, however, spots Jaga watching over them with a knowing smile.
