Summary[edit | edit source]
Country of the Blind, part 2 of 2:
Written by Steve Alan
Dougie Braithwaite, Stephen Baskerville, Bambos & Euan Peters
Lynx-O, while in the land of Javarrn where everyone is blind, ventures off to a magical spring that is said to restore sight. The way is dangerous as the fountain is guarded by the Tongue-a-Saurus. When Lynx-O arrives, he's distraught to find the water doesn't work (apparently, since his blindness was caused by falling debris and not the strange gas in the valley that caused the natives' blindness). In anguish, he cries out which causes an avalanche that buries the approaching Tongue-a-Saurus and the fountain. Lynx-O was only able to save a small sample of the waters to bring back to Breeze. When he returns to her village, Lion-O is waiting for him as he's distraught himself about the fact that he and the others were rendered blind by the storm. He urges Lynx-O to return to the surface and serve as the new Lord of the Thundercats. He goes only to find the others rejoicing - their sight had returned. Lion-O gives Lynx-O permission to return to Breeze and her people, but Lynx-O guesses that with her sight restored there'll be no bond between them any longer.
A Day Out for Bengali:
Written by Dan Abnett
Bengali, curious about tales of the Bridge of Light, ventures there by himself and gets into a spot of trouble. All turns out well in the end, of course.
