Summary
Astral Prison, part 1 of 3:
Written by Zimmerman & Rimmer
Art by Wetherall, Baskerville, Bambos & Euan
Mumm-Ra has set an elaborate trap by holding Jaga prisoner in the hopes of luring Lion-O to the Astral World to save him. With only limited power in the [[Eye of Thundera], Lion-O sets off to a cave that a disguised Mumm-Ra told him about where a master key supposedly can be found that will unlock the Astral Prison in which Jaga is trapped. It ends with Lion-O falling into a pit.
The Mystery Parcel:
Writer uncredited
Cheetara discovers a package outside the Lair before her morning run. Suspicious, she summons the other Thundercats who preceded to debate what sinister trap could lie inside. Lynx-O questions whether or not they're being too cautious in expecting the worst. And after [[[Jaga]] appears and reminds Lion-O to think of what day it is, the Thundercat Lord rips open the package to discover flowers and chocolates inside - it was courtesy of the Warrior Maidens.
Canon
Due to inconsistencies with the original animated series, comics by Marvel UK are not considered canon.
