Thunderstone is a type of very dangerous rock that makes up Thunderstone Mountain. The stones themselves have a spherical shape and a highly shiny blue surface, looking almost like giant marbles. Thunderstone is a highly unstable rock and even the slightest impact causes it to explode violently.
When Bengali and a group of Snarfs were looking for new sources of Thundrillium inside an old mine on Thunderstone Mountain, they accidentally dislodged a Thunderstone and it fell to the ground resulting a large explosion. The blast sealed the entrance of the mine and Bengali and the Snarfs remained trapped inside it until Lion-O came to their rescue.
