Thundersonte Mountain is a rocky region of New Thundera that is filled with mountains, craggy rocks, and hills. What makes this seemingly normal mountain a very dangerous locale is that it is made up of Thunderstone, a highly unstable and explosive rock.
Once while searching for deposits of Thundrillium, Bengali, and a group of Snarfs wander into an old mine on Thunderstone Mountain. They accidentally dislodge a Thunderstone from the walls of the mine and it explodes, sealing them in. Despite all their efforts, they are unable to escape and it is only when Lion-O arrives in the ThunderTank that he is able to free them using the specialized vehicle.
