Tygra is one of the protagonists in the ThunderCats Roar cartoon series. He is the architect of the ThunderCats.
Along with his fellow ThunderCats, Tygra escaped his home planet of Thundera just before it exploded. The Flagship that they were travelling in however, sustained damage from the Mutants' assault and ended up crash landing on the planet called Third Earth.
Tygra is the most level-headed and cautious member of the ThunderCats. He is constantly trying to keep the rest of the group from taking any rash actions, especially Lion-O. A skilled architect, Tygra is responsible for designing the Cats Lair.
