Vultures are one of the many species of birds found on Third Earth. These scavenging birds generally live in the dead and barren areas of the planet, places where they are most likely to find an easy meal. One of the places that they inhabit is the desert above the Cave of the Mudhogs. The Mudhogs have a habit of tying up their victims to the roof of their cave with the victim's heads sticking out of holes in the ground. This makes the victims an easy target for the overhead flying Vultures. Once Mandora and Quick-Pick shared this same fate but were rescued in time by Lion-O
